Bullying experiences - tell us your positive outcome experiences
Anonymous young person's personal experience of bullying
I was bullied a few years ago. It was mostly name calling. But luckily I'm friends with them now. They've said they're sorry and we've all grown up a lot since then.
When the bullying was really bad, I didn't go to school for a while. This kinda made the problem worse. In the end, I received support from Connexions officers and the Learning Support Team.
It may sound funny, but when I was being bullied I thought I was the only person being bullied. It wasn't until I received help from Connexions and Learning Support that I realised I wasn't alone.
My advice to anyone who is being bullied is to SPEAK UP! It's really important that you speak to someone you trust and are comfortable with. If people don't speak up then nothing will get sorted and nothing will change.
